DETI Trading Standards - Supply & Delivery of a Weighbridge Testing Unit

TSS is responsible for the regulation of weighing instruments that are in commercial use. This includes the testing of weighbridges used for weighing heavy goods vehicles. The weighbridge test unit travels to sites all over Northern Ireland where weighbridges are located, ranging from sites at docks and factories to remote quarry and land-fill sites. To check the accuracy of weighbridges TSS require a tractor / trailer combination which has the capacity of carrying 30 tonnes of test weights along with a forklift truck which is necessary to move the weights about the weighbridge site. Under no circumstances will late tenders be considered, nor is CPD obliged to accept the lowest or any bid.
