A66 Crackenthorpe Retaining Wall: Construction of an approximately 150m long bored pile retaining wall to retain the A66 trunk in an area of subsidence. Located immediately to the West of Appleby by-pass. Estimated programmed construction August to October 2008.Piles will be up to 27m deep.
