Video Acquisition Framework Agreement

Tender description

The BBC has a requirement for various types and quantities of video acquisition equipment at various times to facilitate and support its ongoing operations. These requirements as tendered lots are as follows: 1. SD & HD System Cameras. 2. SD & HD Handheld Camcorders, tape based & file based with a recognisable professional broadcast format. 3. SD & HD Shoulder-mount Camcorders, tape based & file based with a recognisable professional broadcast format. 4. Professional Broadcast Lenses for products outlined in lots 1,2 & 3. 5. Portable Storage Devices (including storage cards) capable of recording the media from the equipment outlined in lots 1, 2. & 3. 6. SD & HD Video Tape Recorders to play & record professional broadcast formats. The lots outlined above will include any relevant accessories, for example CCUs, batteries, chargers, viewfinders. However, support (tripods etc) and lighting are not included. All products will generally be available from stock, with the exception of those products listed in lot 1. SD & HD System Cameras, supported by appropriate inventory levels from a supplier with proven experience of dealing with large multisite organisations. A range of rapid delivery solutions will be required to all BBC premises across the UK, with next day delivery as a standard offering, with the exception of those products listed in lot 1. SD & HD System Cameras. All product pricing submitted must have delivery charges incorporated into the total price. The purchasing of products will vary from small ad-hoc requirements through to large volumes, as required, and be ordered across the UK via an electronic catalogue, managed by the successful Supplier. This is a key requirement. The BBC will require electronic invoicing. This is a key requirement. Please note that to be taken forward to Invitation to Tender a minimum score of 60% must be acheived at Pre Qualification stage.
