Provision of Security Services

Tender description

The Authority will shortly be undertaking a tender exercise for the following services: An exclusive contract covering the provision of a high quality Static Duty Security Guard service, which includes a variety of duties at the Authority's headoffice in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The Authority are looking to appoint a supplier who can provide a high quality resource with the ability to provide relief staff (sometimes at short notice) to cover for holidays and absence, who will be able to respond swiftly and be fully conversant with the site and its requirements. The contract is for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend for a further maximum period of up to 1 year (possibly 2 years). There may also be an element of adhoc security service requirements at other sites held by the Authority, which may include Minewater Treatment Sites, Colliery Tips and various properties. These may be situated within various areas of the coal mining regions.
