Tender description

This procurement is for a contract to maintain (fix bugs in and add new features to) the Web Curator Tool for the British Library. Details of the Web Curator Tool can be found here: http://webcurator.sourceforge.net/ . The initial period of the contract shall be six months. After that the contract shall optionally be extended by periods of up to one year at a time. The total period of the contract shall not be greater than four years. The value of the contract is estimated to be ca. £60000 in FY 2007-08. In scope: • Requirements analysis; • Architecture; • Design; • Coding; • Software Quality Assurance; • Change management; • Problem and Issue management; • Configuration Management of an open-source software product; • User and Support Documentation; • Project Management; • Software Development Workpackage Managing, Tracking and Reporting; • Support staff training; • Packaging software for release; Out of scope: • Release management; • Hosting and managing the deployed software; • User training; • Programme Management.
