TV Licensing is responsible for generating in excess of £3 billion from the TV licence fee which represents over 95% of the BBC’s annual income. The BBC has set itself a number of challenging targets for cost reduction, to be achieved through a series of business reengineering programmes. A significant part of this is the migration of customers to more efficient self service channels, with the Web at the heart of this. TVlicensing.co.uk already achieves over 1m sales per year (06/07) and is growing by approx 80% per year. The current offering of buy a licence or change your details is only a small proportion of the possible transactions completed by TV Licensing customers each year. The aims of the project are as follows; Maximise net income Enhance Customer experience Brand evolution Achieve legal compliance and public accountability In order to achieve this we seek an organisation to work with our business requirements to deliver; - Online strategy planning - Interaction design - Usability and accessibility consultancy - Development of web prototype and associated functional documentation
