Tender description

St Michaels House is presently a 30 bed residential care home for the elderly located at the northern end of the City of Stoke-on-Trent. As part of the City Council’s strategic plans, the long term role of the home is changing from residential use to that of providing rehabilitation and intermediate care services for patients discharged from hospital. The City Council are inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced building contractors wishing to tender for the works. The works involve the phased internal adaptation and refurbishment of the present accommodation to create a Centre of Excellence in intermediate care services. The largest component of the works is of a building nature and mechanical and electrical services are included, along with decorations and floor coverings.
