Tender description

Non-Exclusive Term Contract for Site Surveys, Tilt Analysis and Litigation. Services under the contract include analysis of coal mining induced tilt, advice on how mining may have affected structures and and surface features, advice on the best surface location for boreholes to provide water monitoring information or for gas venting, as well as detailed site surveys of land and properties. On occasion the Authority is required to defend litigation actions. This may be in the form of arbitration, Lands Tribunal or in the Crown or other courts. The Authority would require to be advised on these matters and for written evidence to be prepared: evidence would include examination of mining records, together with calculated ground movements, the effects of geology and an opinion on the impact of mining appropriate to the case.
