CHIC’s framework gives access to partners that can deliver advice, support and services enabling the transformation of members physical assets into a digital twin, including all aspects of the information capture, data analysis and data management.
This is a national 8-year Digital Asset Delivery Framework for advising, capturing, creating,
hosting, and maintaining Digital Assets in respect of the built environment for CHIC's members.
The framework provides an environment where housing providers can host digital data in one
location through ready made Digital Asset Management products that comply with the existing
records management lifecycle, have enforced metadata standards and are sharable internally
and externally in a secure and controlled manner for anyone with an internet capability that
has a requirement to view or use data.
CHIC is committed to ensuring a golden thread of information about each of the Higher Risk
Residential Buildings (HRRB), public buildings and large venues across its members asset
portfolios. This framework provides support and assistance to our members in their journey to
build and maintain their digital records.
Key deliverables from Digital Asset Delivery are building safety, intelligent asset management,
and future emissions reduction.
CHIC’s Chief Executive, John Fisher said “We believe that our framework is a key step in the
transformation of our members physical portfolio into a true Digital Asset, to support their
strategic asset management services”.

To create an accurate “as built and as is today” 3D model and/or 2D plan of a building, it

digitally capture a building, in all the relevant forms, to enable the creation of this data
and other digital assets to enhance the Digital Asset Management (DAM) functions.
Digital Asset Creation

For existing buildings, take the Captured data (above) and create accurate 3D BIM
models/2D elevations and Floor Plans.

with their Digital Asset Management (DAM).
